Il Famoso Clan Tedesco di Quake 3 annuncia il ritiro dall'Eurocup, le loro ragioni sono spiegate qui di seguito, prese direttamente dal loro sito ufficiale:
In the beginning of the EC V season we knew that we would have only little time, not only for practice but also for the online games themselves. That was the reason we had decided not to participate in the first place. As Eurocup is the most important international Q3 league we wanted to try anyway and somehow deal with our time problems to play EC V.
Our 3rd group game is supposed to be scheduled and we have serious trouble to find the time to play the upcoming games. Until now we weren't even able to practice the new osp maps just once with the standard team.
Some players have more important things to deal with right now whereas they just can't spend time to play Quake for the moment. When a team consists of only 4 regular players it is important that at least 3 of them can play regularly and sadly at this point it isn't possible. Another problem is that we cant use our leased line anymore from which we used to play from the past year. So we came to the conclusion that if we want to do something, we want to do it right and not just with a lineup of inactive players or from bad connections.
This means we are looking forward to a small break in Quake and we won't continue to play in EC V. We will finish the ESPL season. After our short "break" we will be back and kicking in time for the CPL Cologne in May.
