Zoopunk: F.I.S.T. sequel announced
Ray returns, and he's in 3D
Zoopunk is one of the indie titles presented last night during the Xbox Partners Showcase hosted by Microsoft, but despite the original title, we are looking at a true sequel.
The game world and the protagonist Ray are indeed the same as in F.I.S.T. - Forged In Shadow Torch, the 2.5D metroidvania published by TiGames, a Shanghai software house, in 2021.
Why not call it F.I.S.T. 2? Simple: because the new game significantly changes the gameplay style, becoming a 3D Action game.

Thus, the side view, platform jumping, and especially the large robotic arm that characterized the first title have been discarded. The rabbit Ray now performs dynamic moves and combos against hordes of enemies, but his friends also participate, hinting at alternative sessions playing as them and - perhaps - a multiplayer component.
However, detailed information about the game is currently scarce: all that is known is that it is in preparation for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. We just have to follow the official website...
