Zero Parades: For Dead Spies - Announcement Trailer
Role-playing meets espionage, from ZA/UM
The Estonian studio ZA/UM, famous for creating a cult title like Disco Elysium, takes the opportunity of State of Play to show us its next project up close, with the first gameplay trailer. Before proceeding, a warning: the creative minds behind Disco Elysium are not involved in this project, because they were removed from ZA/UM some time ago. A rather murky affair, which we reported on here on the pages of Gamesurf.
The game is called Zero Parades: For Dead Spies, and is described as "a spy role-playing game with a strong narrative component, steeped in paranoia, surrealism, and a struggle for redemption." From the trailer, a clear affinity with Disco Elysium is noticeable, which is a rather uncomfortable point of comparison for anyone. Zero Parades: For Dead Spies will be released in 2026: for now, the confirmed platforms are PlayStation 5 and PC (Steam).
