Xbox Wants Us to Play Ubisoft Titles on PC
The French company's game library is expanding to PC with two new initiatives
Xbox and Ubisoft are intensifying their collaboration with two new initiatives, specifically aimed at PC gaming. The first involves the arrival on Xbox PC of various premium digital editions or editions with additional content of Ubisoft titles: these include Assassin's Creed Shadows, Star Wars Outlaws, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege, Skull and Bones, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, and many others.
Free Transition from Console to PC
The second initiative is perhaps more interesting: anyone who owns a digital copy on Xbox console of a Ubisoft game from the list below will be able to access a PC copy of the same game, via Ubisoft Connect, at no additional cost. The reverse is not true (so you cannot obtain a console copy from a previous PC copy). Additional content, such as DLC, will be transferred automatically; consumables (like in-game currency) are an exception, and their transfer will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
