Yesterday's Direct revealed many details about the new Tomodachi Life: A Dream Life, including its release date. The bizarre Mii-based life sim from Nintendo will debut exclusively on Switch on April 16th. The title offers a substantial assortment of options to "assemble" your Mii, starting from scratch and tinkering with the editor, or by answering some questions to get an appropriate result. Players can move Miis around and prod them to "stimulate" them to interact with each other, but the game world will continue even without them at the helm.

The town can be customized in minute detail, from its external layout to the interiors of homes, with the ability to create custom designs, including pets. During their escapades, Miis can choose to live together, form relationships, get married, and even have children, with the unprecedented option to create non-binary characters. Here's a replay of the Direct if you want a more detailed overview.
