Tilly Norwood: Hollywood Star, But She Doesn't Exist!
The actress of flesh and bits in her first appearance: it's already time for S1m2wo
From the Zurich Summit, part of the Zurich Film Festival, came the news that could change the face of cinema forever: the birth of Tilly Norwood, an actress generated entirely with artificial intelligence.
She was launched by Eline Van der Velden, an actress and producer who founded Xicoia, a studio dedicated to creating digital talents. Van der Velden stated that initially no one in the big industry wanted to bet on this project. Within a few months, the same production houses came knocking on her door, and so Tilly has already gone from nothing to her first official role: a comedic appearance in the sketch AI Commissioner, produced by Particle6 Productions.

It's quite thought-provoking that on social media, Tilly herself describes herself as an actress capable of "feeling real emotions," despite being the result of algorithms. This detail sparks debate and makes the line between reality and fiction increasingly thin.
Ms. Van der Velden has no doubts: "We want Tilly to become the new Scarlett Johansson or Natalie Portman." And the studios see her as a strategic resource: digital actors with no budget limits, capable of filming anywhere, from the desert to the cosmos, without the costs and difficulties of a real set.
How predictive was the film S1m0ne (2002) with Al Pacino, a commercial flop that so admirably foresaw this. Only now it's no longer science fiction: it's Hollywood risking a future made of heartless stars.
