The Elder Scrolls Online: Season of the Worm Cult Part 2 and Update 48 Now on PC and Mac

The Elder Scrolls Online: Season of the Worm Cult Part 2 is now available on PC and Mac. Part 2 continues the adventure that began in June with Part 1 and takes players to the grim region of Eastern Solstice to put an end once and for all to the Worm Cult's terrible plans for the island. Along with Part 2, Update 48 for the base game will also arrive, introducing a series of improvements, fixes, and a new event. To access the new region and the story of Season of the Worm Cult Part 2, players must have completed the Battle for the Writhing Wall event on their server.

Once in Eastern Solstice, players will discover new dangers and mysteries that were previously hidden behind the Writhing Wall, including new world bosses, Delve quests, and a public dungeon. The new region will also be the setting for the finale of the 2025 Worm Cult saga, a sequel to the original ESO story that has been in development for over ten years. Season of the Worm Cult Part 2 is included in the 2025 Content Pass and the 2025 Premium Edition. More information can be found on the official ESO website.

In addition to the culmination of the Worm Cult saga, Update 48 for the base game also arrives, introducing new fixes, balance changes, and free new features for all ESO players. There will be updates to the leaderboard system and a new seasonal in-game event: Heart’s Week. More details on the contents of Update 48 are available in the official patch notes.
