Switch 2 Already at 10 Million Units Sold, Switch Exceeds 154 Million

Over 20 million software units sold for the new Nintendo console, 10 million from Mario Kart World alone

Nintendo has published its sales data up to September 30, 2025. Switch 2 seems to have started strong, with 10.36 million consoles sold and a remarkable 20.62 million games sold. Of these, 9.57 million are attributed to Mario Kart World alone, which currently boasts an attach rate of 90%, quite impressive. Donkey Kong Bananza also performed well, with 3.49 million units sold.

On the Switch front, the first model of the hybrid console has broken through the 154 million mark and sold over 37 million software units within three months. Among first-party titles, Super Mario Party Jamboree is mentioned at 8.64 million, while the all-time top ten best-sellers is dominated by the usual Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, which is approaching 70 million. Not bad, and now the holiday season is approaching. While awaiting further news, here is the ranking of the best-selling exclusives for Switch and Switch 2.
