Super Mario Bros. Wonder, Switch 2 Version to Release March 26
Bellabel Park introduces many new features for solo or co-op play
Nintendo has announced the release date for the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition of Super Mario Bros. Wonder. The plumber's latest 2D adventure had already been enhanced for Kyoto's new console via a free update, so this upgrade is reserved for the exclusive expansion Meet in Bellabel Park. The content brings a series of activities designed for multiplayer, both local and online, including via GameShare, for up to 12 players.
New challenges related to the Koopalings will also be present, and Rosalina and Luma from Super Mario Galaxy will join the roster of selectable characters. Luma will only be available if there are other players on the field and can fly around to help companions, even using mouse-style controls. Those who aren't platforming experts can instead use the new Assist mode, which will prevent taking damage and falling off ledges.
Super Mario Bros. Wonder – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Meetup in Bellabel Park will be released on March 26. The game will be available as a standalone version, both physical and digital, or on the eShop as an upgrade for those who already own the original on Switch. On the same day, three new Amiibo for Elephant Mario, Poplin, and Prince Florian, and Captain Toad and the Talking Flower will also be released. Here are the announcement trailers and the one dedicated to the real Talking Flower, which will bore us in real life with random messages at random times starting March 12.
