Stranger Things - Journey to Hawkins '85 in the Italian Trailer
Between the second and third seasons, we find the protagonists in an apparently calm phase
Just a few months after the definitive conclusion of Stranger Things, Netflix immediately shines a spotlight back on the series' universe with a first official trailer for Tales from ’85, an animated project that expands the original story without delay.
The new series is set between the second and third seasons and brings the protagonists back to an apparently calm phase. However, the balance doesn't last long: something buried deep underground begins to re-emerge, forcing the group back into action.
The end of the main series is just the beginning
The most evident change concerns the voices. None of the original actors are involved, and the historical characters are entrusted to an entirely new cast. A clear choice, aiming to distinguish this project from the live-action while maintaining familiar faces and dynamics.
The animation is handled by Flying Bark Productions studio, already known for productions related to Marvel and other popular franchises. Behind the scenes, however, key figures from the Stranger Things world remain, including brothers Matt Duffer and Ross Duffer.
Tales from ’85 will arrive on April 23 with 10 episodes of approximately half an hour each. It's just the first step: Netflix has also already started another live-action spin-off, this time completely unrelated to the original characters.
