In June 2025, Aggro Crab and Landfall Games studios released Peak, a cooperative multiplayer climbing game that started as a minor project but surprisingly managed to sell five million copies on Steam in less than a month. Today, it's estimated that at least triple that number of copies have been sold; the developers recently concluded support with The Final Ascent, but there's new information on the horizon.

When Peak comes out on console

After the release of the last major update, the Peak team focused on console conversions, which are about to become a reality. Peak will soon reach PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2, in digital format: the release date on the new platforms is set for October 22. Console users will have the opportunity to play with PC users thanks to cross-platform.

The physical edition of Peak

But that's not all: if you prefer the physical edition and own a PS5, then know that one is planned for the Sony console, courtesy of Skybound Games. The release date is December 9, at a price of €19.99. The physical edition will contain:

  • A physical game disc for PS5 with the full game
  • A friend code with an additional digital copy of Peak to share with a friend
  • An exclusive printed Scout passport with customizable stickers
