Surprisingly, the demo for Panzer Dragoon Zwei: Remake has been released on Steam. The content, available for download during the Steam Next Fest, is a remake of the second chapter in the Panzer Dragoon rail shooter series, originally released in 1996 on Saturn. Leading the project are MegaPixel Studio and Forever Entertainment, who previously developed the first Panzer Dragoon: Remake, alongside Storm Trident.

The demo allows players to try out the second level of the game, and initial player impressions don't seem overly positive, especially regarding the "spirit" of this project. This is a common complaint with other works from the Polish publisher, such as the remakes of Front Mission and The House of the Dead.

Perhaps there's still time to make improvements, as Panzer Dragoon Zwei: Remake does not yet have an official release date. It is expected to debut on PC via Steam, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X|S. Here's the announcement trailer.
