Palworld Turns Two, Previews Upcoming Pals
Pocketpair is working on update 1.0, set to release this year
Two years have passed since January 19, 2024, the day Palworld was released on Xbox and PC. Who would have ever imagined such dazzling success, accumulating millions upon millions of copies sold, even drawing the ire of Nintendo? It may seem incredible, but after coming all this way, Pocketpair's monster tamer hasn't even left early access; however, something is stirring.
On the occasion of the game's second anniversary, the Palworld team shared a video in which Pocketpair CEO, Takuro Mizobe, expresses his gratitude to the fans. For the occasion, it is explained that update 1.0, the biggest one yet, is in the works and will be released in 2026. The studio cannot reveal too much about future content: we are shown the design of some of the many new Pals that will be released in 1.0, plus a cryptic scene with a flying whale and a gigantic tree…
