Pac-Man World 2 Re-Pac, Technical Specifications for Switch and Switch 2 Versions
4K and 30fps or 1080p and 60fps on Switch 2
Now Production and Bandai Namco have released the technical specifications for their Pac-Man World 2 Re-Pac. The remake of the 2002 3D platformer will feature two display modes on both hybrid platforms, prioritizing either video quality or frame rate. Details are below:
Switch 2:
Resolution and Frame Rate (Quality):
- Docked Mode: 3840 x 2160p
- Handheld Mode: 1920 x 1080p
- "Maximum" 30fps
Resolution and Frame Rate (Performance):
- Docked Mode: 1920 x 1080p
- Handheld Mode: 1920 x 1080p
- 60fps
Switch
Resolution and Frame Rate (Quality):
- Docked Mode: 1920 x 1080p
- Handheld Mode: 1280 x 720p

The file size for Pac-Man World 2 Re-Pac on Nintendo consoles will be around 6.3GB. Furthermore, it will not be possible to upgrade the Switch version to the Switch 2 version, nor to transfer save data or use additional content purchased on Switch for Switch 2. What do you think?
