Overthrown: Patch 1.0 Release Date
The chaotic city builder is preparing to transition to its full version, also on PS5
The journey of Overthrown officially began last December 5, when it was released on PC (Steam) and Xbox Series X|S + Game Pass, in its early access version. This title is a peculiar cooperative city builder, set in an open sandbox world: the player takes control of a magical queen who must build her kingdom from scratch and protect it firsthand from threats such as bandits and... mutants.
When and where Overthrown 1.0 will be released
Publisher Maximum Entertainment and developer Brimstone announce that Overthrown will transition to version 1.0 on October 16, 2025. On the same day, the game will be released on the PlayStation 5 console. Patch 1.0 will bring with it some new features: primarily flying ships to traverse the skies, then cannon towers (which won't get along very well with flying ships), and an upgrade to bandits, who will have more extensive settlements, be more dynamic, and equipped with three additional classes.
