Nintendo Switch Online: The Ultimate Guide
Nintendo's new video illustrates the features of the service
Nintendo Switch Online is Nintendo's subscription service for its consoles, which, as the name suggests, allows you to play online with Switch and Switch 2. But it's not limited to that: to learn about its other features, Nintendo's YouTube channel has shared a video summarizing the key aspects. For example, on Switch 2, Game Chat is available, allowing you to talk with friends and share your screen.
All NSO subscribers have access to Nintendo Classics, a line of titles originally released on NES, SNES, and Game Boy. Additionally, there are exclusive games for members (Tetris 99 and F-Zero 99), soundtracks from Nintendo Music, and assorted benefits, including cloud saves and demos. The Expansion Pack upgrade provides access to additional Nintendo Classics (for GameCube, Nintendo 64, GBA, and Mega Drive), as well as offering extra content for specific Switch and Switch 2 games.
