Neagley - Trailer for the New Reacher Spin-off
The series seems to want to maintain Reacher's action-oriented style, but with a significant variation on the theme
Maria Sten returns as Frances Neagley in the new trailer for the Reacher spin-off. The suspicious death of someone close to her prompts the character to begin a personal investigation, destined to lead her to a mysterious organization.
The official version speaks of an accident, but Neagley is not convinced. Certain details push her to investigate personally, and the search for the truth leads her on the trail of a mysterious organization that seems to have ties to a cult.
Neagley Tackles the Case (Almost) Without Reacher
The trailer also confirms the return of Alan Ritchson, who recently debuted with season 4 of the main series, and who will once again play the former military police officer. His presence, however, will be linked to Neagley's story, who is called for the first time to carry the weight of the narrative alone.
The series seems to want to maintain Reacher's action-oriented style, but focusing more on the protagonist's personal journey. The result could allow Neagley to carve out an autonomous space without merely replicating the original series' formula.
Prime Video has also chosen a significant debut date: the eight episodes will arrive on September 16, 2026, precisely when the finale of the fourth season of Reacher is scheduled. The project will not stop at television. Lee Child is indeed working on a new series of novels dedicated to Neagley, starting with Zero Margin, expected in 2027.
