Marathon Releases Today: Runners Land on Tau Ceti IV

PlayStation and Bungie announce the release of Marathon: the game is available starting today, March 5, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. In this sci-fi extraction shooter, players embody Runners, with the goal of competing to raid the mysterious planet Tau Ceti IV. Marathon is divided into Seasons: updates will be accessible to all who have purchased the title, without the need to buy additional DLC in the future.

Launch Content

At launch, Marathon offers access to all six types of Shells: Destroyer, Assassin, Recon, Vandal, Thief, Triage, plus the Rook. There are 28 different weapons (plus their modified versions) to wield and three main areas: Perimeter, Dire Swamp, and Outpost.
