Lords of the Fallen II takes place centuries after the first installment, in a world that has been devoured by the darkness of Umbral, with the exception of one realm that managed to protect itself thanks to an ancient power. Now, that power has been taken by the gods themselves, and only the rise of a hero can save what remains of humanity. The game will offer ruthless soulslike combat, with gigantic and abominable bosses to defeat.

When is Lords of the Fallen II coming out?

Expected in 2026, the title has been delayed to the first quarter of 2027: the announcement was made by Marek Tyminski, CEO of CI Games. Tyminski explains that during testing, new opportunities to improve the experience emerged, and seizing them will require extending development a bit. Frankly, the head of the Polish studio adds that the delay also serves to move the game out of a period with strong competition (let's remember that a certain GTA 6 is coming out in November...).

The Lords of the Fallen II test

Players will not have to wait until 2027 to try Lords of the Fallen II, however: Tyminski announced that a closed beta test will take place later this year. Although the test is closed, thousands of users will be granted access. The extra months of development will allow for better implementation of the received feedback into the final product.
