Keanu Reeves Joins Tim Miller's New Film
Once known as "Shiver," the new film from the "Deadpool" director is still without a definitive title
The cast of the new project directed by Tim Miller, director of Deadpool, is expanding. The film is still without a definitive title after being introduced as Shiver. At the center of the operation is Keanu Reeves, now joined by Stefan Kapicic, known to the general public for voicing Colossus in the Deadpool X-Men saga.
The story moves between tension and science fiction, following an improvised smuggler trapped in an extreme situation in the Caribbean. After a bloody betrayal, the man finds himself surrounded by unscrupulous mercenaries and lethal threats from the sea. But the real nightmare is another: time repeats itself, forcing him to relive the same scenario multiple times in an attempt to change his destiny.
Trapped Between Sea, Death, and Repeating Time
The film combines the time loop mechanism in the style of Edge of Tomorrow with a survival tension set at sea reminiscent of The Shallows. Behind the scenes, the production involves heavyweights like Matthew Vaughn and Aaron Ryder, while the screenplay is penned by Ian Shorr.
The release is set for August 13, 2027, distributed by Warner Bros.
