Katanaut: Cyberpunk Roguelite Launch Trailer

Acclaim, a name that has written video game history, has returned to the spotlight with the Play Acclaim Showcase, an event that highlighted titles made by small developers and published by the company. One of these developers is Voidmaw, author of Katanaut: it is an action roguelite with metroidvania elements, characterized by a blend of cyberpunk sci-fi and cosmic horror.

Set in an abandoned space station, Katanaut draws heavily from works such as Dead Cells and Dead Space. The gameplay focuses on fluid and precise action; when you die, you have to start over, but with each run, the map changes.
