Set in 1962, the series tells the story of a couple and their son who have just moved to Derry, Maine, an apparently quiet town, but marked by the mysterious disappearance of a child. Soon, a series of disturbing events and unsettling visions begin to torment the newcomers, opening the doors to a collective nightmare that will lay the groundwork for the horror we all know.
