According to the latest rumors, Apple is ready to unveil the new iPhone 17e, a model intended to occupy the “most accessible” segment of its catalog, earlier than expected. Reports suggest a debut as early as mid-February, approximately one year after the arrival of iPhone 16e, with a presentation that could occur without a dedicated event, via a simple official press release.

The timing would not be coincidental: Apple is experiencing a particularly intense start to the year, with new accessories and anticipation for the MacBook Pro update. In this context, the iPhone 17e would represent a strategic piece to refresh the entry-level offering without overhauling it.

Interesting Renewal for Apple's Entry-Level

Regarding new features, one of the most significant would finally be MagSafe support, absent on the previous model. Magnetic wireless charging would arrive with power up to 25W, filling one of the most criticized gaps of the iPhone 16e. The design is expected to remain rather conservative, with a single rear camera and the front notch, although the arrival of the Dynamic Island is not entirely ruled out.

From a hardware perspective, the iPhone 17e is expected to adopt the A19 chip, alongside new modems and more efficient connectivity components. The expected price would be around 599 dollars, confirming its positioning as an “entry-level” iPhone, certainly only economical for the Apple world.
