Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road, "Final" Trailers and New Details
Releasing November 13 on PC and consoles
Level-5 has announced new information regarding its Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road. No, it's not yet another delay; the release date now seems set in stone. Instead, these are the "final" trailers for the Japanese team's soccer RPG. In addition, CEO Akihiro Hino spoke about some features planned for the title, and even some removed during development, such as the ability to change screen orientation and stylus controls, specifically designed for Switch. However, it will support mouse controls on PC and Switch 2. These will also come to PS5 via an update, but not to Switch and PS4. The Xbox version wasn't even mentioned. Below are the technical specifications regarding resolution and frame rate for the various platforms:
- PlayStation 5 - 4K Resolution, 60 fps
- PlayStation 5 Pro - 4K Resolution, 120 fps
- PlayStation 4 - 1080p Resolution, 60 fps
- PlayStation 4 Pro - 4K Resolution, 60 fps
- Xbox Series X - 4K Resolution, 120 fps
- Xbox Series S - 1440p Resolution, 60 fps
- Switch 2 - 4K Resolution, 60 fps (fixed mode)
- Switch - 1080p Resolution, 30 fps (fixed mode)
- "High-end" PC - 4K Resolution, 120 fps or higher, 21:9 aspect ratio support
Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road will boast something like 5400 characters to collect, so many that saves can be imported into the next game (when it comes out). Players will be able to import and retrieve players from their "Player Bank", including different variants (so there will be even more). Starting tomorrow, October 22, the "Inagle" system will also be available, a search engine for PC and smartphones that will allow users to analyze various characters and view their statistics. Some content will be locked until the title's day one release.
Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road will debut on November 13 on PC via Steam, Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, PlayStation 4 and 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Here are the three videos in question and the music video for the ending theme song, "Guidepost".
