Hollow Knight: Silksong: Free Upgrade Pack for Switch 2
No extra charge to switch between versions
Hollow Knight: Silksong, the highly anticipated second chapter of the metroidvania developed by indie group Team Cherry, is now nearing its release [and some are currently watching the clock with a mixture of anxiety and longing].
While fans await to download and launch the game, the developers have released a new update on the project's Kickstarter page where, among other things, the activation procedure for Nintendo Switch 2 users is specified.
To activate the new-gen version of the hybrid console, it will be necessary to download the software for the first Nintendo Switch and then apply the Upgrade Pack, but there's no need to worry: the update is in fact absolutely free and will be available on the store simultaneously with the game's launch.
This means that even for Switch 2, a console whose game prices - increased compared to the previous generation - and update costs have displeased quite a few users, Hollow Knight: Silksong will cost a total of €19.99.
In addition to the two Nintendo Switches, Hollow Knight: Silksong will arrive tomorrow, September 5th, on PC, PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S and is included among the titles of the Game Pass.
