Heavily Discounted PS5 for Black Friday? [Rumor]

Black Friday is fast approaching, and presumably, everyone planning to make some purchases is eagerly awaiting the discounted prices of the week. Among others, of course, those looking to buy a new console – or preparing year-end gifts in advance – are waiting to hear about any offers from Nintendo, Microsoft, and Sony.

Regarding the latter, the well-known insider billbill-kun on the pages of the French blog Dealabs has published a leak that will surely entice potential PS5 buyers: according to his information, Sony's white console will soon receive a discount of between €100 and €150 off the list price.

To be more precise, the discount is €100 on Pro and Digital Standard models with an optical drive, while it increases to €150 for Slim Digital models. The final prices are as follows:

• PS5 Pro at €699
• PS5 Slim Standard at €449
• PS5 Slim Digital at €349

With the exception of the Pro model, the other two will also be distributed in the Fortnite Flowering Chaos bundle at the same price while supplies last.

Obviously, this information awaits confirmation from Sony, but billbill-kun subsequently went further by publishing rumors about discounts also in the American territory, where the console recently saw a price increase due to Trump administration tariffs. In Japan, we recall, Sony announced a cheaper PS5 Slim Digital model but "locked" to Japanese language and software.
