Hoyoverse's gacha game shows silhouettes of its future protagonists
Genshin Impact boasts a truly enviable update frequency: the free-to-play game developed by Chinese company Hoyoverse receives a major patch every six weeks, and these updates often offer an extremely generous amount of new content. Genshin Impact's development follows a pace that would be unsustainable for anyone else, made possible by the immense amount of money the game earns (and reinvests). The upcoming patch also promises to be decidedly rich.
Patch 6.3 News
The next major update will be patch 6.3, named Moon IV, which will be released on Wednesday, January 14. The main novelty consists of a new, large area to explore: a new part of the Nod Krai region. As every year, for Chinese New Year, the Lantern Rite event will return, dispensing various gifts including 10 Intertwined Fates, 1,600 Primogems, and a 4-star Liyue character of choice.
The main story will continue with the Archon Quest A Traveler on a Winter's Night. As for characters, the long-awaited Columbina (5-star, Hydro, catalyst), Zibai (5-star, Geo, sword), and Illuga (4-star, Geo, polearm) will make their debut. Finally, two new skins will be introduced: one for Neuvillette (paid) and one for Yaoyao (which can be obtained through an event).

New Genshin Impact Characters
Hoyoverse has teased the player base with the mysterious image we included on the cover, which shows us the silhouettes of the characters that will be introduced into the game over the next few months, with patches subsequent to 6.3. This is a device that was also used last year; a couple of faces are already known, on the others we can speculate a bit.
The second and third characters from the left are easily recognizable: they are Varka and Nicole, who have already appeared in the game. Regarding the first, fourth, and fifth, according to leaks they would be named Lohen, Snegurochka, and Linnea, but take this information with a grain of salt. If you look closely, on the right you can also see the reflection of a sixth character: it could be Sandrone.
