Xbox has shared the launch trailer for Forza Horizon 6, in anticipation of its imminent release. The new title from Playground Games will officially launch next week, on May 19, on Xbox Series X|S and PC (Xbox PC, Steam) and will be available day one on Game Pass. Purchasers of the Premium edition are entitled to 4 days of early access, meaning they can start playing as early as May 15. Later in 2026, the racing title will also arrive on PlayStation 5.

Forza Horizon 6 Has Been Pirated

Despite not yet being officially available, Forza Horizon 6 has already fallen victim to pirates, apparently due to a major oversight by the developers. As reported by Insider Gaming, yesterday Playground Games reportedly uploaded all of the game's files to Steam, without them being properly encrypted. This amounts to a massive 155 GB of data, which has fallen into the hands of malicious actors.

UPDATE: Playground Games is not responsible for what happened. The correction can be found in this article. We apologize for the error.

The pirates, of course, did not hesitate and unfortunately seized the Forza Horizon 6 files. Stolen images and videos of the game are circulating online; however, we prefer information released through legal channels, so if you wish to continue the discussion about Forza Horizon 6, we recommend reading the in-depth article we wrote for the Developer_Direct.
