Nintendo announces the release of Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave, available starting today, September 17, exclusively on the Nintendo Switch 2 console. Developed by the series' historical developer, the Japanese studio Intelligent Systems, Fortune’s Weave tells four stories of as many characters, which intertwine around a gladiatorial tournament in the city of Dagsion.
In our opinion, it is a quality title, which proves respectful of the Fire Emblem tradition, modernizing it with some novelties. The gameplay proves valuable, and by raising the difficulty level, one can enjoy a challenge capable of enhancing their planning skills. It is not a perfectly successful game; some side activities remain subdued, but this does not detract from the fact that we are facing a great episode in the saga: we delve deeper into the discussion in our Fortune’s Weave review.
