FiiO has unveiled SNOWSKY MAGE, a USB DAC with a headphone amplifier designed to enhance gaming and high-level music listening.

The device integrates a 400 MHz SpaceTouch processor, supports 8 independent audio channels, and a 7.1 virtual surround algorithm based on HRTF technology, designed to recreate a three-dimensional sound environment even through stereo headphones. The goal is to improve the perception of sound positioning during gaming sessions. Its compact design is inspired by portable consoles and weighs approximately 15 grams. Trans Black, Trans Green, and Grey finishes are available.

8-Channel Surround and High-Resolution Audio

The SpaceTouch SPV6040D processor provides a declared computing power of up to 100 GOPS. The gaming mode offers 4 profiles dedicated to FPS, MOBA, RPG, and rhythm games. For music, there are 7 presets available, with PCM decoding up to 32-bit/384 kHz and native DSD256.

Customization also includes a 10-band parametric equalizer, manageable via the FIIO Control app. For communications, AI-based microphone noise reduction is provided, alongside a physical button to mute it. SNOWSKY MAGE also features 2x USB-C ports, with compatible POWER IN input and PD charging up to 60 W. Separate 3.5 mm jack connections for headphones, headsets, and microphone are present, along with physical controls inspired by gamepads.

FiiO SNOWSKY MAGE is already available at select retailers for a suggested price of $19.99 in the United States and £22 in the UK. It can be purchased from Scan Computers UK, while its arrival on Amazon stores is expected soon.
