Elden Ring Delayed on Nintendo Switch 2: Releasing in 2026
Are there performance issues for the console?
Nintendo Switch 2 is making up some of the ground lost by the previous console in terms of third-party support: several titles that missed the boat with Switch 1 are now being released on the new platform. Among others, Bandai Namco intends to release Elden Ring Tarnished Edition, an edition that includes both the base game and the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion, but we'll have to wait longer to see it.
Elden Ring Tarnished Edition Slips to 2026
A press release from FromSoftware's official website informs us that its masterpiece will delay its appointment with Switch 2: the launch window for Elden Ring Tarnished Edition has indeed been moved from 2025 to 2026. The reason given could cause some concern: the studio needs more time to bring the conversion's performance to an acceptable level. Could the power of Switch 2's hardware be causing more problems than expected?
