Duffer Brothers to Cinema - Paramount Already Has Debut Date
It will be their first work completely separate from the series that defined an era on Netflix
Brothers Matt and Ross Duffer are ready to turn the page after the experience that made them famous worldwide with Stranger Things. Paramount has indeed scheduled the arrival of their first feature film, made under their new collaboration with the Studio, for November 3, 2028. The project currently does not yet have an official title nor a defined plot.
The decision to set a release date so far in advance is unusual, especially considering that the authors themselves have not yet definitively identified the story to tell. This choice demonstrates the trust Paramount places in the two filmmakers, who joined after an exclusive agreement signed last year.
A New Beginning After Stranger Things
The film will also mark one of the most important elements of Paramount's strategy, which is committed to attracting some of the industry's most influential names to strengthen its film catalog. While awaiting the subject and cast, curiosity remains as to whether the creators of Stranger Things will once again manage to surprise with a new idea destined to leave its mark.
