Decrepit: The First-Person Soulslike from The Game Awards
A new action title announced, coming to PC
One of the very first announcements at The Game Awards 2025 is Decrepit, a first-person action game with a soulslike combat system. Set in a sinister castle, in Decrepit the player will have to start from the dungeons and fight their way to freedom, facing assorted abominable beings. With each death, the experience will restart from a different cell in the castle: as you progress, you will memorize the paths to take and unlock various bonuses and abilities.
When and where Decrepit will be released
As noted above, the combat system is soulslike, so there will be a lot of emphasis on each hit and attention will need to be paid to stamina. Published by Three Friends and developed by the Swedish studio Jammerdal Games, Decrepit is expected in 2026. You will find this title on PC, via Steam. Playtests will be conducted in the future, providing the opportunity to try it out in advance.
