Darkwood 2: Horror Game Announcement Trailer
A dying lake sets the stage for the nightmare's return
Publisher Hooded Horse announces Darkwood 2, the sequel to the grim top-down survival horror game. For those unfamiliar, it's a game set in a dark forest, where players must escape monstrous creatures without a clear destination: the fear stems from the feeling of being constantly hunted. The new installment in the series is set in the 1990s, a few years after the events of the first episode.
Where and When Darkwood 2 Will Be Released
The location of Darkwood 2 is what remains of what was once the basin of the Aral Sea (which, unfortunately, is also disappearing in reality). The game will be developed by Ice-Pick Lodge, a Russian software house that collaborated with the developer of the first chapter, Acid Wizard Studio. Darkwood 2 does not yet have a release date, but Hooded Horse informs us that it will arrive soon. The designated platform is PC (Microsoft Store and Steam); furthermore, you will find it on day one on the Game Pass service.
