Cougar expands its ecosystem dedicated to its CFV235 series chassis with an accessory designed to add both an aesthetic and functional element to the PC. The new CFV235 LCD Monitor is a display designed to integrate directly into the case and offer a constantly visible window into system performance.

The panel uses 9.16" ultra-wide IPS TFT technology, with a rather unusual resolution of 1920 x 462 pixels and a 60 Hz refresh rate. Once installed inside compatible CFV235 line cabinets, the display can show useful real-time information on computer operation, such as component temperatures and fan speeds.

Image and substance

In addition to hardware monitoring, COUGAR has also considered personalization. The monitor can play multimedia content chosen by the user: static images, animations, or short videos, supporting popular formats such as JPG, PNG, GIF, and MP4. This allows the panel to be transformed into a kind of digital showcase inside the case.

All functions are managed via the Cougar LCD Editor software, which allows you to organize information on the screen and quickly modify layouts and content directly from the desktop. The connection to the system is made via a 10-pin USB 2.0 connector, while the declared brightness reaches 300 nits, sufficient to ensure good readability even within illuminated configurations. Price and availability have not yet been announced.
