Brad Pitt Takes on Alaska in New Heart of the Beast Trailer
The film reunites the actor with director David Ayer 12 years after the war film "Fury"
Brad Pitt returns to work with David Ayer in Heart of the Beast - Into the Wild, a survival thriller that takes him to the Alaskan wilderness. Paramount Pictures has released a new trailer for the film, expected in Italian cinemas on September 24, 2026.
He plays James Belmont, a former Special Forces member whose small plane crashes into the waters of Alaska. With him is Odin, a K-9 dog trained during his military service. Upon reaching the shore, they discover they are completely isolated and without any possibility of rescue.
Into the Wild, the Only Way is Forward
The journey to civilization quickly tests both of them. Belmont must face the cold and a difficult terrain to cross, while Odin becomes crucial in the most critical moments. The relationship between the two thus takes on increasing importance: it's not just the ex-soldier who has to protect the dog, because Odin also proves indispensable for his survival.
An adventure full of increasingly difficult obstacles, especially when Odin also gets injured. For Belmont, turning back cannot be an option: the only possibility is to keep moving through a land that offers no respite.
The film reunites Pitt and Ayer twelve years after the war film Fury. The cast also includes J.K. Simmons and Anna Lambe. The screenplay is by Cameron Alexander, while Pitt is among the producers.
