Bounty Star: Mechs, Dinosaurs, Western, and Farming Sim in DINOGOD's New Title
Available on Steam, PS5, and Series X|S
Publisher Annapurna Interactive and developer DINOGOD have released Bounty Star, a 3D third-person action game that combines mech combat with "lite" farming sim and base-building elements. Players step into the shoes of Clem, a former soldier marked by her past but still capable, a war veteran, skilled fighter, and adept mech pilot. Clem will seek to free herself from the guilt and shame of her past to do good in the Red Expanse, a post-apocalyptic version of the American Southwest.
“To say Bounty Star is a passion project for the DINOGOD team is an understatement. Ever since I was a kid, when I fell in love with mechs, I always wondered what it would be like to live as a pilot: the adrenaline of battles and the calm between one clash and another,” said Ben Ruiz, founder of DINOGOD and game director. “Bounty Star is the realization of that fantasy. We hope players grow to love Clem as much as we enjoyed writing her, along with the rich world of the Red Expanse.”
Customizable Mech Action: Players pilot the Desert Raptor MKII, a mech of extraordinary power. It is a highly customizable combat vehicle, equipable with various offensive and defensive systems: high-speed thrusters, riot shields, rapid-dash boosters, and much more.
Become a Bounty Hunter: The Red Expanse is a rich agricultural and commercial region, but it is infested with violent criminals and dangerous creatures. The remaining government entrusts justice to experts like Clem, bounty hunters free to pursue their targets wherever they hide, even in the most remote and hostile places.
Build Your Base: Clem inherits an old, isolated, and dilapidated garage, which becomes her operational base and home. Here she can create supply lines for water and energy, grow and cook food, produce ammunition and fuel for combat, and raise animals. This ruin has a lot of potential, but it will only grow along with Clem.
Bounty Star is now available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, and as of today also on Xbox Game Pass, priced at 23.49 euros, with a 10% discount for the first few weeks. Here's the launch trailer.
