Bloomwalker: the adventure trailer in the Ni No Kuni universe
The fairytale atmospheres of Studio Ghibli echo in a new game
The Korean company Netmarble participated in the Tokyo Game Show with a new trailer for Bloomwalker, an adventure set in the Ni No Kuni universe. For those unfamiliar, the latter is a JRPG franchise created by Level 5 in collaboration with Studio Ghibli, which gave the production its unmistakable artistic style. In our opinion, the first Ni No Kuni should be considered a true masterpiece.
Bloomwalker's Features
Returning to Bloomwalker, Netmarble thus recaptures the series' fairytale atmosphere, adapting it, however, to a different type of experience: it shifts from JRPG to a crafting-based adventure, which can be tackled alone or in cooperative multiplayer. The story tells of a world whose shrines have been corrupted by pollution and must be restored with the help of familiars and elemental spirits. The protagonist travels through this world with their mobile home, which provides access to a special customizable pocket dimension.
When and Where Bloomwalker Will Be Released
This bucolic adventure developed by Netmarble does not yet have a launch window. You will find Bloomwalker on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 1 and 2, PC (Steam, Xbox PC) platforms, and on the Game Pass service.
