Beyerdynamic and the New MMX Wireless Gaming Headsets
Models designed to work with PCs, consoles, smartphones, and handheld devices
Beyerdynamic expands the MMX range with two new wireless headsets designed for very different needs. MMX 100 wireless and MMX 130 wireless share the same sound profile but focus on isolation and a more open sound, respectively.
The MMX 100 wireless features a closed-back design and weighs 275 grams. The velour ear pads contribute to comfort during prolonged sessions, while the removable META VOICE microphone is designed to ensure clear voice communications. Connectivity includes Bluetooth 6.0, a low-latency USB dongle, and a wired connection.
Two Different Approaches to Gaming
The MMX 130 wireless, on the other hand, opts for an open-back configuration, with a weight of 265 grams. The open design promotes a wider soundstage and better ventilation, characteristics particularly suited for games where atmosphere and spatial perception play a central role. It features 40mm titanium-coated drivers. Ideal for those who can use them without disturbing others around them.
Both models are designed to work with PCs, consoles, smartphones, and handheld devices, with replaceable components and battery on the MMX 100 wireless, which will be available from September 1, 2026 in black and Arctic White for 99 euros. The MMX 130 wireless will arrive in October for 129 euros.
