A Quiet Place Part III Officially Enters Production
Starting almost unnoticed in 2018, the film gave rise to a global phenomenon
The A Quiet Place saga is preparing to return to the big screen. John Krasinski has confirmed via social media that filming for A Quiet Place Part III has officially begun, thus reactivating one of the most profitable SF-Horror franchises of recent years.
The director will once again write, direct, and produce the film, further solidifying his connection to a series that, starting almost unnoticed in 2018, managed to transform into a global phenomenon capable of grossing nearly 900 million dollars worldwide.
Original Protagonists of the Saga Return
The new chapter will see the return of Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds, Noah Jupe, and Cillian Murphy, who were all present in previous films of the series. They will be joined by new additions such as Jack O'Connell, Jason Clarke, and Katy O'Brian.
The plot remains shrouded in mystery for now, but the film will continue the narrative universe built around the invasion of blind creatures that hunt by sound. The last project related to the franchise was A Quiet Place: Day One, a prequel set in New York starring Lupita Nyong'o.
The theatrical release of A Quiet Place Part III is set for July 30, 2027.
