8BitDo is back to enhance its offering with the Ultimate 2C Wireless Controller, a completely revised version of the Ultimate C series, aiming to improve precision, comfort, and responsiveness. The design isn't the only novelty: the controller debuts with a much wider color palette, which includes the new Mint, Peach, Green, and Purple variants, as well as a Transparent Black edition with futuristic aesthetics and two "dessert" versions, Blueberry and Brownie.
Refined Colors, Top Performance
The most significant changes concern the internal hardware. The switch to Hall Effect joysticks and triggers is designed for greater durability and superior sensitivity, while the bumpers have been re-engineered to offer a more tactile feel and faster response. A highly requested feature by gamers is also present: extra-fast L4/R4 bumpers, usable without external software for immediate reactions in the most frantic titles.
The controller also improves in performance: the polling rate reaches 1,000Hz via 2.4G and wired connection, for virtually instantaneous inputs. Compatibility has been optimized for Windows and Android, thanks to combined Bluetooth, 2.4G, and cable support. Also present are anti-wear metal rings on the sticks, a quick switch mode, and the ability to remap buttons.
